Come to our office (3100 Gillham Plaza, KCMO) and pick up your yard signs on Monday-Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, on Saturday, from 10 am to 3 pm, or on Sunday, from Noon to 5 pm.
We also need volunteers to phone bank for the campaign. If you have a couple hours to spare, we can put you to work. Please come to our campaign office during daytime hours, in the evenings or on weekends. We are specifically looking for volunteers on Saturdays from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II spoke to Democrats welcoming the opening of the Hillary Clinton for President campaign office in Kansas City. ”This is not a state that is considered a red state, I think we’re far more purple than the experts would like to admit,” Cleaver told the crowd.

Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II brought down the house with his speech Thursday to the Democratic National Convention. Cleaver to Republicans, “If you’re party is no longer becoming to you, then you should be coming to us.”
Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II will address the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia late afternoon on Thursday. Cleaver will speak on the final day of the convention ahead of Chelsea Clinton and before Hillary Clinton formally accepts the Democratic nomination for President.
Cleaver is slated to speak between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm (Kansas City time) on Thursday, July 28. The speech will air live on cable news networks, as well as on live online streams provided by the DNC and C-SPAN.com.
Cleaver delivered a rousing address to the convention four years ago in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Huffington Post wrote that Cleaver “went off-script and fired up the crowd at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, using his oratorical skills as a United Methodist pastor to urge the crowd to help reelect President Barack Obama.” You can watch his 2012 speech here.
